Polyester stuffing, safe?

Is this safe to use? I'm planning to use it in my QT filters.

Yes it is but it can clog easily.

+1 good for polishing too or using for bacteria transfer to qt.. I love that stuff for cheap filter floss in small hob filters in my fresh water tanks. But yes it can clog easily and can take some tweaking to get it to work optimally.
