nuvo 8 gallon
Hello Reefers . I'm a novice getting back into the swing of things . I was at it for about a year or so being a beginner i spent tons of cash on 612 calcium reactor protein skimmers you name it i probably had it on my 75 gallon . 2 refugiums hang on the back plus a sump . 100+lbs LR ,Cebu Sun fixture which i still have and still my tank was never really a reef . my 4 gallon that i just lost 2 days ago in a power outage was doing 100 percent better check my youtube my names funkmaster100 i did nothing but use ocean water bought in 2 gallon bottles from petsmart and top-off and adjusted salinity with r/o from the lfs .thats what i plan for the 8 i setup yesterday with about 8 $60 sps frags along with my surviving pistol shrimp and dracula goby haven't seen him since i put him in but i have seen the shrimp . i lost my yashia goby but i'm hoping he's tucked inside the rocks but it's not likely because i had them out of the water for a bit during the tank upgrade from the 4g to the 8g . will that be enough to sustain a sps dominate system in the nuvo 8 gallon with two 6 or 8 watt nuvo led fixtures ?and i plan to get a mp 10 and possibly a skimmer if recommended and can find one to fit the nuvo 8 gallon please let me now what you guys think

if you say your not trolling and your serious and 8 gallon tank is going to be harder to keep than the larger 75 you had. Also those will barely do anything other than make your tank light up. Try getting better lights to support SPS. As for PS they make small tiny ones that would need to buy. Also you put a mp10 in there, your going to create a whirlpool so i wouldnt suggest it. Do some more research into what you want and what others have done. The nano forum is a great place to start
