Curiosity Question
Just a curiosity question for later on down the road. I currently have a 55G DT with a 40B sump/fuge. I also have a 29g and a 30g tank sitting unattended. I am currently renting my house right now, and will be here for another year when my wife and I plan on buying a house. My question is on adding another tank to the system. My plan is to add a 125 or a 180(undecided), use my 40 as the sump, 30 as a fuge, and the 29 as a frag tank, all plumbed together. Equipment needs aside, would I be able to add the 125 in to the current system with dry rock(i.e. Marco) and not worry about cycling, since all of the water will be circulating through my cycled 55 and 40 sump?

Personally, I would fully cure the new rock before adding it to an existing system.
