Please help ID Growth????

Hello Everyone,
I have these growths on 2 frags of mine... They are fairly new. It's a Black/redish body and a sweeper are comes out. What is this and should I be concerned?

The picture is pretty blurry. It might be vermetid snails. http://reefkeeping.com/issues/2005-01/rs/index.php

After reading this my conclusion is that it is a vermetid snails. I have a few of these in different places.

I am in the process of cycling some new rock to replace my old rock. The article says that there is a type of Hermit crab that eats these... Which one?
