megaflow overflows... removable?
i got a brand new 125 gal with the 2 overflows in it. i would like to replace these with a center diy (glass holes type) overflow around 15" in length. are these monstrosities removable? tank comes on sat so i seen it in person yet. couldnt pass it up at 250$

sure. It'll be easy enough. The giant overflow is just siliconed in place - use a sharp razor blade and cut it out. Remove the crappy 1" bulkheads and cover them with a piece of thick glass and silicone, or leave them in place but cap them. If it were mone, I'd remove and cover.

How do you plan to put overflows in the center? Bottom is probably tempered and cannot be drilled. You should check with the mfg on which panels may be tempered.

ill drill the back and install a 15"x4"x6" glass diy overflow out of black glass ( my glass source gets black for me) and hebie that bad boy with a 1" full siphon and a 1.5" emergency. hanks for your input fellas.
