Ocreef dimmable par 38 bulb

Has anyone had any experience with these bulbs. I like the built in dimming capability most. I want to use it on a standard 10 gal frag tank. I don't have much head room to play with, so dimming is probably essential. This unit has 90 deg lenses, seems too wide for about 10 in above water/18 in from bottom. I think the lenses can be switched though. Any input would be appreciated, thanks.

It looks great at a great price too! The only draw back I could think of is that it is running cree's which for a 10g may be a little strong but if you get the dimming one that negates the drawback. I may actually pick one up now that you brought it to my attention.

I have been using this one:http://www.ocreef.com/ocreef_dimmabl...tegory_id=5084 for the last few months over a 5g cube. I am actually impressed,I like the color and the zoa's and ricordea's are happy. I thought I would use the dimming option but I just run it as-is

Thanks for the replies, guys. I just ordered it, and I will post a review after I get it up and running.

I have a a plain home depot fixture mounted above the tank now, I'm just going to use that. The bulb will be about about 7" above the water and 18" from the bottom of the tank.

Did the new bulb arrive yet? I was looking into getting this for my nanocube to replace my MH. I like that it has a ton of features (including the cloudy and storm/lightning effects). Let me know how those look. I honestly think I might bite the bullet and purchase it really soon....it looks sooo nice on paper, but I would love to see photos once you get it.

New light in yet? haha I'm pretty excited to see these features. Pardon my exuberance.
