Question ORA Fish?

so i know that ORA came out with their manderines that are trained to eat pellets so i def. got on that and buying one at my LFS. now this got me thinking... why dont they make more finicky eater fish? i would really like to buy a leopard wrasse thats trained to eat pellets or frozen food. last time i bought a this wrasse i couldnt get it to eat anything but live foods. since this was kind of a PIA i returned the fish due to this problem and i felt like i would starve him in the long run. so do any of you guys know if ORA made more finicky fish like the manderines that would eat prepped food? i would love to buy another leopard wrasse that is eating everything that my other fish eat. thank you in advance.

It's a matter of what's able to be bred in a tank. I would guess they haven't gotten them to breed.

I've also heard some bad things about the mandarins they breed. From what I've read they don't always eat as advertised, prepared food, or pods.

Mine never at frozen or dried (pellets or flakes). Not that I ever saw.
Just picked pods from rocks all day.

Your not paying ORA for a mandarin that eats pellets, your paying for a captive bred fish so the ones in the ocean stay there and don't starve in a tank

But thats not how they are primarly advertised....hence the name "ORA Pellet Eating Mandarin". Thats the selling point people attach to

Seconded.

Add on the low life expectancy because they're not eating anything and it's even worse. I would assume everyone is purchasing a fish they assume is reasonably healthy, and willing to eat.
