HELP Mag 5 Return pump dead

Just came home to find all my power heads on but my Mag 5 return pump is not wanting to kick on. I pulled the pump from the sump, and I'm currently soaking it in a vinegar hot water bath. Pump has been plugged into a surge protector, same one that the power heads are in, status on that is fine so I'm not suspecting surge. What other options do I have to explore to try and get this pump running again?
