Acclimating fish to their original tank?

Ok so I bought a tank of someone and I kept the water that is in the tank. It's cycled and the parameters are good. I have the fish in a bucket with an aireator. After I fill the tank up can I just throw them in the tank or should I acclimate them like a new fish from the LFS?

I moved My fish from Kentucky to South Carolina. I had the tanks in the back of the truck and I had all the fish in a five gallon bucket in the front seat with a battery operated airstone. As soon as I set up my tanks I just poured the fish right back in there. Just make sure your temp is close. It was a 12 hour ride for me with the fish in the front seat. I lost 1 fish out of about 30.

I would temperature acclimate first, but if it is close you should be okay.

Water isn't cycled, a tank is. The beneficial bacteria live in the LR, substrate, filter media, etc. You might save a few bucks, but moving water does next to nothing when cycling a tank.
