Filled up how much?

Just wondering, For the people who do not have drilled tanks. How far do you fill up you tanks? Do you fill to the bottom of the rim? Do you leave space under the rim? Just trying to get a feel of what others are doing...Thanks

I had a non-drilled 46g bowfront and kept the water level just above the top brace so the water line was not visable. I was very OCD about it and now have a rimless which is kind of ironic lol
