Drain question

Just setting up a 60 cube and the drain has a straw type 2 inch tube coming out of drain elbow I assume to break siphon?

It's not really loud but how do u quiet this noise down?

Tank is a marineland 60 drilled in back center

If u can move the straw up and down that might help.

Google Durso style drains and you can learn how to tune it to be as quiet as possible. That straw actually makes the drain quieter and much faster,or at least that's the idea behind it.
