Just bought a powerhead. Need help.
Hey guys I got a 240gph powerhead and I have it in a 10 gallon tank. I have no clue where to aim it or put it?
Should I put it on the opposite side of the filter or the same side? And i don't know where to aim it. Would appreciate your advice. Thanks |

When you look into your tank, look for spots where you don't see alot of water movement. Aim for that. You want to keep stuff in the water column so your filter can get it before it lays on the bottom. Food, etc.

Aiming it the surface is not a bad idea either.

It's moving the top of the water and about half the tank. The top of the water is steady moving though

I think if you place it on the back corner, on an angle from the buttom to the top and looking and the front corner of the oposite side that would do the job. You will have a good flow and no dead spots. If you have sand dont place it to close to is or you will have a sand storm.
