Successfully keeping 2 demon fish together (damsels)
We've had a 3 stripe damsel, or demon as I prefer to call him, for about a year or so now, and today while at the LFS when I was supposed to NOT be looking at fish, fell in love with a Caribbean Jewel damsel. I know the caution of having 2 damsels, especially one of which has been in the tank for so long, and as big of a jerk as Marty has been in the past with most of the new fish, but such a gorgeous fish for only $12 was hard to pass up. Anyway, had to share, that so far, Marty chased him once, and the new one went right back after him. Now they are inseparable, and getting along great! (a little surprised, but not complaining! LOL!) I'm just hoping these 2 don't gang up on attacking our hands every time we need to go in the tank (this is how Marty got the nickname demon). Just to share, also brought home a coral beauty and a beautiful green bubble coral. Pics to come soon!

Such a bad pic but the best i could get. His spots are a brilliant electric blue, I'll have to try to get video of the tank later. This picture absolutely does no justice for the beauty of this fish!
The new bubble: The coral beauty hiding behind the bubble.

Did you know the jewel doesn't stay looking like that when it becomes an adult?

Yes. It does keep its spots, but overall turns more of a yellowish greenish color from what I saw? We did see some adults (or at least that's what they were labeled online) and still looked very pretty! LOL I didn't realize how much so many fish change! We almost got an emperor angel, LOVE the juvies, and didn't realize how drastic of a change they go through!
