starting 90 gallon reef tank how start?

i have a 90 gallon tank with a 55 gallon sump this is all new to me and just want to do it right waiting on my ro/di unit this weekend,when i fill the tank mix the salt can i just add live sand and rock asp?

my set up is 90 gallon drilled two 1 inch bulkheads custom overflow dual runs,55 gallon sump with lots of room for algae live rock,classic berlin skimmer with 594gph pump,return 1250gph ,pof lighting 500watt halide and two super actinic fr40t12/vho

this tank will have its own run from the fuse box Sunday

yes you can. Id let the salt and temperature go up because if not you will kill your live rock and sand and there would be no point in getting them then

okay the tank is in my basement its cooler down there for the pof lighting, i wont be getting a chiller well i hope i don't have to, but can i buy the live sand and rock and leave it in buckets for a few days ?

Yes you can as long as there is salt and water at the right temp. Any time rocks or sand is left out of water die off will occur.

what fish will i be limited to,and also i want soft and hard coral if i can even do that and where should i buy all my chemicals

fish are limited based on size of tank and if you want a reef they need to be reef safe. what chemicals do you want and why?

Good lighting and better water quality with consistent params and your coral will grow.
