How long for the nitric spike?
My ammonia spike just went down and my nitrite just rocketed. How long does the nitrite last on average?

The nitrite spike and drop is almost always quicker than the ammonia spike and drop. Things vary from tank to tank but usually the nitrites will drop within a week to 10 days.

The ammonia went down in only a few days. I think it's going to be a extremely fast cycle.
