advice on a diy led kit.
Looking to switch from halides to leds. Tank is a standard 75 gallon. What's a good kit that's not crazy expensive? I have some lps and softies in the tank as of now. Don't think ill ever go to sps so no need to plan for that

Would this kit be good for a 75 with some zoos and lps? Or would the 90 be better? Or is there another kit for around the same price. |

I have 2 kits form aquatyleonline. Great service and the product is as advertised. My problem is i can not figure out how to dial in my lighting. I have achieved the lighting color i am looking for but even with dimmable drivers I can not determine how much is too much or not enough light.
I am struggling to keep from washing out the colors in my zoas. Its a challenge. I hope to get it figured out eventually. There is a lot of contradictory info out there. Lots of build threads but few long term reports. Kit was fun to build and mount into my hoods (biocube29 and a 120gal custom hood). I used DIY heatsinks (1" U channel) and ordered fans with my kit. Best of luck to ya! |
