Sunpower Hanging kit - How to mount?

I have a 60" sunpower module. The wire hanging kit mounts to the ceiling somehow with a machine screw part that has a shoulder slightly larger than its diameter. Is it intended to be used in a channel? what options are there for mounting it to a ceiling.

I used toggle bolts to drill into my drywall. Better to find a stud. In either case you just find a screw head thats big enough to hold the female end up against the ceiling and then you just screw into it (the piece with the slit that holes the wire)
