Green Carpet Moved - Bad?

We got a new green carpet anemone 4-5 weeks ago. He hasn't moved from where we 1st put him, until the past couple of days. He's well attached through the sand bed to the bottom glass. Over the weekend, he edged forward a couple of inches and then last night he came forward to the front glass, a few inches, and then over to the right a few inches. So far, everything is fine with him moving, although I may need to move a couple of corals depending on how large he gets in this new position. But, why did he move? I've always heard anemones only move if they are unhappy. He's eating very well, looks great, and nothing else has changed in the tank. Water parameters are all excellent.

Any thoughts?

I've heard anemones can be quite picky about their location. He'll keep moving until he finds that spot that he really likes. If it was really unhappy, it would inflate itself and let the current take it to a new location. Moving a couple of inches seems like its not to big of a deal.

He's remained in the spot he moved to last week. No issues aside from having to move a couple of corals out of his reach.

I too have a green carpet that is on the move. He has stayed in his original position for at least six months and over the past week he has been plowing through my sand bed. He's at a pace of about an inch a day. Not very convenient since I am now having to re-arrange my coral on the sand bed. Anyway I'm pretty sure this is natural behavior and like all living things he's probably exploring his options.
