phosphate

Can I use my red sea saltwater phosphate test kit to test the fresh water coming out of my RO/DI for phosphate?

Never mind. I had a moment. I can test my mixed saltwater for water changes to see if it is there.

This is one test that you would be better served to get a good meter for, i.e. Hanna checker.

+1

I have the Hanna checker, and it's the way to go as far as PO4 is concerned. They are a bit of a pain to get used to because you have time windows for each of the steps, but they key is to have the packet of powder already open and waiting.

Make sure you get the low range version as well
