How to remove gravel from bare bottom aquarium
My aquarium just finished cycling and I want to remove some sand and small gravel size coral fragments from the bare tank bottom during my water changes. Is there an easy way to do this? My gravel vacuum won't pick these up.

Hook your gravel cleaner to a shop vac. Why do you want it out?

That's a good idea. I think it will look neater to have a squeeky clean tank bottom. I may be asking for too much work though.

You will always get rubble down there. I think minor amount would only help by increasing bacteria population. Ill bet you put an L and an R on all your socks . J/K

I don't. I just don't want anything to build up too much down there.

Remove the attachment and use a straight hose. Assuming the rocks are smaller than the hose, you can clean up quickly.
