Electrical tape?

I need to connect a powerhead connection inside the tank just below the water line just to prevent it from falling but I don't want it permanent and electrical will do the job, can I use that? thanks

I wouldn't not sure whats in the glue on electrical tape that would likely leach into the tank. Not to mention I doubt it would hold for long bellow water line. Not real sure what your option would be that wouldn't be permanent.

Should be fine PVC/rubber adhesive.. Of course you want to apply it to dry surfaces..
What about plastic zip ties.
