RO/DI question

Is there something you can hook to your RO/di unit to where it will shut off automatically after the 32 gallon brute container is full. I have left mine running for 24 hours twice now and wasted 100s of gallons of RO/DI water because I forgot to turn the thing off. What does everyone use? The water running out of the trashcan and into the basement drain is not the problem. Its that I'm wasting my DI cartridge and a lot of water. Any Suggestions or links would be great.

Thanks. That,s a good idea. I tried leaving myself a big note in my room and that did not work. Alarm would be a good idea.

I drilled A whole in the side of my brute and installed a float valve. This can only be done if your RO/DI unit has the auto shut off device.

I just ordered this shut off kit. Hopefully it will work with a brute trashcan. >> http://www.bulkreefsupply.com/auto-s...s-systems.html

i have a genesis renew+storm+rvoc system. comes with a price tag of $900 but u never have to worry about ro/di water or auto top off or water changes.
you can program it for auto water changes, auto top off and it automatically monitors ur ro/di bin and turns ur unit on when low and shuts off at high.
