ReefBrite LEDs

I just picked up a 175 Watt MH and 2x24 watt T5 combo fixture for my 60 cube mixed reef tank.

I'm looking to add a bit more pop to the colors, and am thinking about a Reef Brite strip. I don't know a whole lot about them, however. Should I go with the 24inch model? Would the 12 inch be sufficient? How about the XHO vrs the "regular" version?

I would just go with the 24in XHO model, but I don't want to burn the corals, and I'd rather not spend $200 on supplemental LEDs.

I would wait just a tad more they are coming out with a manual adjustable controller, I have heard that the XHO's are very bright.

I was reading about the dimmable fixture, but they have been talking about it since 2010 so I'm not sure when they will be coming out. I also heard you would be able to buy the dimmable power supply afterward. It'd be great if a dimmable model was available though.

Not really honestly. I don't have any first hand experience, but the reading I've done suggests they're not nearly as powerful as the Reef Brites.

I use 2 of the reefbrites and don't really think the XHO is worth it for the amount of extra money you have to spend. I do recommend them though.

I have also gone with 175 MH with Reefbrite XHO for actinic supplimentation, and they are incredible! I've mounted them to the front of my 3 Luminarc Mini reflectors so they would reflect off the surface of the water back into the reflector and then back again into the reef. Doing this I was banging out some impressive par reading at 22" (75 to 100+ depending on placement under the reflector) with just the Reefbrites. Because of these impressive par values it has allowed me to shorted my MH photo cycle. Couldn't be happier

You have 16 units? Is that over one tank? Wow!

Can someone tells me if I use the legs (not the curved one and not the one for the regular reef brite) for the XHO, what is the height between the light and the rim of the tank?
