Reef Octopus question
I just purchased a RO NWB-150 for my 75 g DT. the question I have is, is it better to empty the collection cup or use the drain for the cup to a secondary container?

Doesn't really matter, just don't forget about the secondary container and let it overflow.

I've had WAAAY too many overflows after adding mag or whatever to trust the collection cup overflow & my floor....at least if the cup by itself overflows it goes back in the tank ...
that said I might still rig somekinda collection bottle/float sw deal with my Apex so it shuts of when full or when the skimmer goes nuts
