Mature Royal Gramma issues
Hello guys, I've had my tank stocked w/ just a firefish, clown pair and royal gramma for the longest time... about 2 years, moved from a 50g to a 125 and never stocked it
Today I introduced 4 fish... 3 lyretail anthias and 1 solar wrasse. The RG wasn't happy.. the clowns weren't either but they were mainly just around their anemone. The firefish doesn't care. At first the royal gramma went after the 2 female anthias... the male anthia stood up to him and now the RG stopped picking on the anthias (for the most part). My solar wrasse is another story, the RG seems to go after but not ALL the time, just when he seems like it. Will this all settle down w/ time? I don't think the RG is nearly as fast as the wrasse but I don't want any unnecessary stress. Thanks

give it few days it will settle down on its own. to make matter more easier u can place a mirror so fish can see its own reflection and chase it rather than others.

I agree... they should be fine in a few days.

+1, Royal Grammas typically are mild mannered and should settle down after a couple of days.
