I went with a 36" stunner LED strip in the deep blue color on my 55......is an awesome color to view the tank at night and I highly recommend it

The R2 I think has been the best Ive seen. Some of the other LED moonlights Ive seen out there are just way too bright.
One R2 capsule will cover about a 24 inch area |

+1 on the R2 moonlights. I love 'em, and they are inexpensive to boot!
They are sold in a single for small tanks or a double pack that daisy chains together for longer tanks like yours.

TrueLumen moonlight is a decent brand, that would be my choice.

Does one generally keep the moonlights on all night?

I leave mine on 24/7 so I don't have to mess with additional timers. Main lights go off, tank is left dimly lit in blue.

And being LEDs the energy consumption is tiny huh. Sounds good as I don't have a timer either
