Is anyone having this problem
hello everyone. I am thinking about buying a Hydor Koralia Smart Wave Pump Controller with 2 Hydro Koralia Evolution 1050 gph pumps. I have seen a few feedback reviews on different websites about people having problems with the Hydor Koralia Smart Wave Pump Controller. The only problem people are having is when the pumps turn back on they are making a "clicking" noise. Does anyone have one of these and are u having a this problem.

Havent used it... I use the Vortech MP10 and would recommend it if you are in the market to make some waves.

you will get the clicking noise from most AC pumps, this is because it is stopping so it turns the correct way. I would suggest going with a DC pump if you want the wave type and don't want the clicking noise. I highly suggest TUNZE very quiet. the vortech's IMO are just as noisy as the clicking noise, but I have only seen a few in person.

I've had the wavemaker for about 6 months now. I like it but yes when the pumps start backwards they will make a click noise. Also the plastic cages on the pumps get weak from the saltwater and the consistent starting backwards it actually breaks the piece that stops it from running backwards.
