Re-aquascaping questions

so i want to re aquascape my tank but im trying to figure out the best way to do this, do i remove all the livestock into holding buckets? or work around them? i kinda wanna do major redesign of my rocks but dont want to hurt anything in the process of doing that

also most of my corals are still on the frag disks and glue to the rock could i just pop the disks off and re glue them after?
