Tank Temps
Hello, so I have everything in balance and staying the same cept the Tempture.
I really would like my tempture to stay the same in the tank, currently it will change from 77-80 at different times of the day. I have been trying to lower the heaters in order to adjust them correctly, but still looks like 77-80 vary in tempture. It is an open top aquarium so heat can escape easy, not sure if that is the problem or what. So my question is. Is that much of a change in temp bad? Can I fix it any way? |

you could probably fix it with a lot of work and equipment.... or you could just leave it, because that temperature range should be totally fine...

Okay thanks. yes everything else is totally stable.. The ATO that I just installed really keeps my evaporation rate at bay. It was a huge pain to have to fill up the tank with Top Off Water every day, and in different amounts, plus checking it all the time was a pain.
I believe that everything is going to be good, and glad to now know that temp changes of about 3F are okay. |
