How much Rock/Sand in my Refugium? 9.5" x 11.5"

I'm using a CRYS30S sump from Trigger Systems, feeding a 34gal barebottom frag tank. Very low bio load, no fish.

Trying to fit all my bio filtration in the refugium, 9.5" x 11.5" footprint with 11" baffles. Will house chaetomorpha.

How many lbs of livesand and liverock can I place in a refugium that size based on your experience?

i am not a big fan of rubble rock in the sump or refugium. 3-5" deep sand bed and few rubbles will do the job. get a good strong light with 6500k

While I appreciate the time you took to reply, I'm not sure it's the answer I'm looking for.

How many lbs of livesand will give me how deep of a sand bed?

Assuming cultered and cured liverock, how many lbs can I add to a container that size and still have room for my chaeto, water flow, and not look like a wall to wall layer of rock?

I would go with no sand and just grow the Chaeto.
