Non-Wall LED Dimmer

I'm in the market for a full spec Par38 bulb for use on my 6 gallon Nano Cube.

As I don't want to fry the corals, I'll need a dimmer to adjust the lighting to an appropriate level.

I'm renting my place and thus an a wall dimmer isn't really an appropriate option.

The only other dimmers I've come across are called 'in line' and are for use in DIY rigs.

Can someone please advise? I'm not even sure what to search to find what I'm looking for.

google or go to home depot and get a "lamp dimmer"
