Coming back to hobby after 10+ years off - suggested books?

I am looking to get back into the hobby after a 10 year absence and was wondering if you guys could suggest some good books to refresh my memory and bring me up to speed on the hobby.

I am planning on jumping back in with a 180 gal fowl for a time then move on to a beginner ish reef setup.

Thanks
-David

The reef aquarium volume 2 and 3 are probably the best read. Volume 3 is the most up to date, but volume 2 is still quite relevant. There are also pdfs of them floating around the net...

IMO it is a waste of money to buy books on the subject. Here on RC you have all the knowledge you will need to get back up to speed. Read all the stickies and articles by Randy Holmes Farley.

Read all of those articles and you will be well on your way.

This is the best book I've ever read. It's detailed, has some humor, and is by a well trusted author.

Thanks guys.

I understand it's kind of a waste to buy books on the subject but it's still really nice to have a hard copy of something to look at some times.

If you're only going to buy one book, it should be "The Conscientious Marine Aquarist", by Robert Fenner.
