rimless vs. regular tank
i live in SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA, anybody here had this question in their mind what type of tank to get? and advantage and disadvantage? and where to get the tank? Please thank you!

What sized tank are you looking for? Due to the lack of brace supports thicker glass or acrylic is required for a rimless tank so they are more expensive. Also due to thicker glass you may want to go with low lead glass (starfire glass) for added clarity which is also more expensive. Rimless tanks also tend to require more outside the tank cleaning as many splashes that would be contained by the rim of the tank slash over the side and run down the front of the tank. That said I like the look and have a 50 gallon rimless cube. I went with a CAD Lights tank which I purchased direct from their warehouse in Ontario.

I went with a eurobrace. IMO I think it looks almost as nice as rimless and it's safer.

I'm planning to start with 75g but confused to decide on drain or should i get reef ready?
