What is this white pineapple thing? Please help me ID
Hi everyone,
Within the last week, I have noticed several of these white pineapples popping up throughout my tank. I just wanted to know the following: A) What exactly is it? I think it could be a sponge, I'm not sure though. B) Is it beneficial or harmful to the tank? Thanks for your help! J |

Picture kinda blurry, but a spomge would be a good guess. I am sure someone will chime in.

Yes, funny you call them "pineapple looking," since the common name is pineapple sponge. Not an issue for your tank.

Thanks for the advice everyone. I was worried that it may have been a bad sign. My tank is only 2 months old now, so it is still fairly new.
