Skimmer Air Draw vs GPH?
Hey guys, I got a question.
I'm purchasing a new skimmer and it says 850lph Air draw. Now does this also mean 850lph of water? If not, how many gph does the pump operate at? It doesn't say anything about how much water volume it moves. The skimmer is a Vertex Omega 150.

2 completely different things, The water number is how much water will be processed per hour, I am guessing with the Sicce pump it will be around 200-300gph

I just want to be sure because i want to match the amount of flow going through my sump to my skimmer. It doesn't even say what pump it's using. I know it's a Sicce but which one.

well ifthe sicce is tunedup to match a tunze hydrofoamer it could have up to 350gph. I would suggest 350 to 400gph return flow
