This might be a dumb question...

If I have 1 lamp at 900 lumens and add a second lamp at 900 lumens, does that give me a total of 1800 lumens or is it just 2 lamps at 900 lumens?
Obviously common sense dictates that 9 plus 9 is 18, but light is intangible.

1800 total. i say this thinking about total wattage with bulbs over a tank if you have 8x54w T5s you have a total of 432 watts...
