Too much is when it refuses to eat, or spit out undigested food.

Anemone is a carnivore.

I read somewhere about once a week. I found that if I wait that long...she goes AWOL looking for a better spot LOL. So, I just feed here about every other day and notice that she does grab some left overs in the flow.

I don't feed my btas at all. They get their food from the water column and halides. They grow and multiply for me. If I feed, they do grow a lot faster.

If you want to feed to encourage growth, once a week is fine. Some use silversides, but I prefer small food. Mysis, an small krill chunks. They'll even eat carnivore pellet food or flake. They aren't fish, and don't need all that much at all.
