Stinky RO tub??

Hey all , I checked my 32 gallon brute trash can that holds the top off water for my 120 reef. I noticed that there is a slight odor/funk/stink that is in the tank. My guess is that some sort of bacteria is living in my cold/dark RO storage tank?

Does anyone else experience this with their RO storage tub? I haven't experienced any side effects in the tank aside from a small patch or hair alge (the size of a silver dollar). If so how do you sterilize the tank or do you just let it go.

I have had it before, it is bacteria, a little bleach will kill it, be sure and rinse well afterwards.

Yup mine has the dreaded cat pee smell. When I first noticed it, I read on here it's caused by the DI resin. Doesn't seem to hurt a thing so I left it as it is.
