ESHOPPS PSK-75 Hang On Back w/Drain Review

I bought this unit for my 28G nano cube and for the first 4 days no action. However, once my intake got clogged with green hair algae and my output where sponge fits also got clogged, skimmer started to overflow causing several gallons of my water to empty into my drain bucket below. Lucky I was home when this happened! I was forced to remove strainer and sponge, now am able to adjust water level where before it was too high and unresponsive. Then I discovered a leak where the rubber o-ring seal on powerhead. Tried using plumbers tape, still leaked. I was a bit dismayed, but even with plumbers tape it was still leaking. Finally unloosened ring that prevents powerhead impeller from falling out just a hair, that was enough to I guess stop the leaking. Perhaps by tightening the unit all the way, it creates uneven pressure on one side, not sure. I was probably better off having stuck with my airstone driven one. This eshopps does not really collect much green and dark junk
