Not as smart as I thought I was. Let Retrofit Kit.

Not as smart as I thought I was. Let Retrofit Kit.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I have worked in the service feild for over 20 years in both mechanical and robotics. I recently purchaced a Let retrofit kit to add some attinic lighting. There are NO instructions what so ever. I figured out mostly everything except for the wiring of the moisture proff end caps. http://www.reefgeek.com/t5-fluoresce...ir-vs0001.html I have stuided these things for over an hour to take them apart so I can wire them. What am I missing? Are they just some type of push lock? Perhaps someone at Reefgeek should include some type of instruction manual. For me they could call is Manual for Dumbaxx's

Anyways I am sure someone out there has these caps. If you could please be so kind as to let me know the seceret.

Thanks in advance
Mark

Mark, I haven't used that exact one but have never seen one that wasn't a push connector, there is usually a gauge on the base to show you how far to strip the wires but it is usually about half an inch or so.
