need advice! upgrading to new bulbs
I have a 24x4t5ho by aquatic life. I'm upgrading to four new ati bulbs. What combinations do you guys recommend? Post pics it you can thanks!

Im running 3 ATI Blue Plus and 1 Coral Plus and like the color combo.I have Read That some people claim it resembles a 20k look..It all depends on your color preference.I will try and get a picture up if i can capture the color.

I like 2 blue plus, 1 coral plus and 1 purple plus. 2 blue plus and 2 coral plus may look good as well.

I'm using 2 ATI blue plus, 1 KZ Fiji purple and 1 ATI Actinic
 Here's the same except the actinic is removed and a GE6500 is in its place.

The above said I much prefer the blue look, something like the top combo or 3 blue plus & a purple plus is what I like but a coral plus may be nice as well, I still have not ordered a coral plus bulb because I am now happy with my combo.
One thing i will mention- a blue plus & actinic is a much better 2 bulb dawn/dusk combo than 2 blue plus or a blue & purple combo. Last edited by Michigan Mike; 12/12/2012 at 02:02 AM. |
