will this light fixture work on my 2.5 gallon refugium???
i need a small inexpensive light for my refugium, will this work????

Hmm, I'd think not. You should shoot for 2-3 watts per gallon on a refugium. You could always start with 2 and add another if you don't have god growth and have the room.

+1, you might be able to find a 2-1/2" LED bulb with enough PAR value to grow algae but most of us use 4" clip on lights with either a compact florescent or LED spot light bulb.

i want something that doesnt stand out much because of size...but i really dont want to pay $20+ if all im growing in my refugium is chateo, very complicated :/

Not sure what bulb type that is but most halogen type lamps can use the warm while kitchen style led bulbs...warm white, should be perfect for algae.
