LFS live rock

My one and only LFS has some live rock but it looks horrible. I think he is trying to pass it off with just dead rock thats sitting in a tank

Does anyone have good experience with ordering live rock?

I'm lucky that I have a LFS with live rock for a decent price and nice quality, A friend bought one of the dry and live rock combo's from Marco's that looked pretty good.

I have never ordered it online because I found a local Craigslist reefer that had 40 pounds of extra live rock. I'm not sure what size tank you have but I know thatpetplace.com sells Fiji nano liverock for a decent price. If you have a small tank it is already small prices to aquascape with. They also sell other types and sizes of liverock or if you are local to Lancaster PA then you can go to directly to them.

Live aquaria has a good deal in fiji rock right now. Even with shipping its still a great deal.

I would go dry to avoid pests and hitchhikers.

That is another option is to go with dry rock so you don't have do deal with unwanted hitch hikers and pests.

You could always get more dead rock an then dose pure ammonia to kick start your cycling process.

Did you get any live rock? I could probably hook you up with a couple of pieces to get you started.
