Air in dual reactor
I have been running my new brs dual reactor for about a week now, and for some reason the gfo side has developed an air pocket at the top which has grown and is almost reaching the bottom of the canister. I can't detect a leak anywhere. I've been dealing with dinoflagellates so the carbon side is collecting alot of gunk, but the gfo still tumbles and the flow coming out is ok. Any ideas on how to purge this air out of the canister?

I realize this is an old thread, however, I'll answer it since I went looking for a solution and couldn't find one.
I solved this problem by slowly loosening the reactor chamber with air in it while the pump was on until the seal was just broken enough that the air got pushed out by the water pressure, and then I quickly retightened it just as the water level reached the top of the chamber.
