plumbing Question
The LFS says I need to silicone the pvc for my sump into bulkheads. Does this sound correct and should I just use the silicone like pvc glue?

Not sure way they would say that. Pvc glue holds residential and commercial plumbing that is under higher standing pressure. Pvc glue fuses the two pieces together.

If the inside is used and looseness does not cause problem, silicone is good for re-work possibility. Are you refering to inside or outside pipe of the bh? |

Where is the LFS telling you to put silicone? If you have a treaded connection, usually teflon tape is all you need, but I suppose you could put silicone on the threads as well. If you have a slip connection I would just use PVC cement.
