Help catching YWG
I am removing all fish due to an ICH outbreak. the last fish standing is a YWG that jumped in his hole to get away. I have a fish trap waiting for him now. any other recommendations on how to capture him?
thanks

drain the water to just 1-2" and net it out. its much easier to catch fish this way.

How big is he? You can try fish him out, they make some pretty small hooks. I fished out a goby a while back with 4 feet of fishing line a tiny hook and a piece of shrimp. Only took about 5 minutes, but then again the reason I needed to get him out was because he was eating everything (and everybody..he decimated my CUC) so he took the bait quite quickly. The hardest part for me was threading the hook and keep the 20 other fish way.
