clownfish not doing good

Hi so a friend (jack123) of mine bought in a fish for the saltwater tank at my school. He brought in a firefish and a clownfish. I aclamated the fish for 25 minutes. When I relesed the fish the firefish went into a rock cave but the clownfish just sat and did nothing. Its just sitting on the bottum of the tank with its mouth closed andoccasionaly swimming about. When I looked in the tank. an hour after the acclamation i checked on the tank and the firefish was swimming around his cave but the clown was just sittin there clillin. I really dont know what it is>

Is the tank cycled? Have you checked the amonia/nitrite readings lately? What is your ph?

Could just be stress. With no tank info its just a guess. When you add new fish you should turn lights out for a few days to allow it to adjust.
