The sump area is where I spent a lot of my time in detail work.

This looks like a well thought out setup. What is the valve that appears to come out of the floor?

Fantastic start, everything looks very clean, well built and organized. What size is your tank?

That is a very nice setup, I wish my sump looked anywhere near as good as that.

The valve on the floor is for ro di. I have 3 fittings at the back of the stand. One for rodi one for new saltwater and one for old saltwater. To pump up new saltwater I hit a switch on my dj strip and it turns a pump in the basement on and fills the sump

Very nice.
I love your style. Your tank fits your home perfectly. I am a big beliver in the idea that a tank should look good empty just sitting in a room. You have done a great job. What is the plan for coral?

Most likely a mixed reef. Right now I have hammers, frogspawn, gsp, a growing zoa garden, open brain, elegance, red monti, and a leather. Looking to do some nice sps pieces up high and get plenty movement from lps a little lower.

Did you do anything for the wood the tank is sitting on? The perfect spot for a tank in my house is on wood flooring but I've been worried about a mishap happening and ruining my floors. I've already replaced them once due to a cat messing with water hoses in the laundry room that flooded half my house.

Daaaaamn looks good! I feel like a true dillhole for posting my thread above! lol. I cant wait to get my rodi hooked up and start making water. (I dont know how lol, but I have a buddy that does coming to help me hook it all up) I love how your tank looks in your living room. I am going to be putting mine in the corner of my living room and running lines from my rodi to the tank (under the floor).
