New fish big mistake?
So I believe that I have made a typical newbie mistake. So please don't yell. I didn't do enough research before making my purchases. I was under the no tang is a mean tang impression and got not one but to mean tangs. I currently have a 225 DT with a Scopas and Clown tang.
Will I be able to add any other tangs? I know that I am at the minimum tank size for the Clown. I was hoping to have a Pacific Blue also. I should add that everything is fine now, but the clown is still small. Do I have to worry about the clown being aggressive with all inhabitants or just other tangs? |

Hi lil'fishy, i don't see a problem with any of them as many Reefers have various tangs in their display tanks! hope this helps.

Most websites designate a clown tang as an "expert only" or at the very least "difficult" fish. They are also aggressive, especially with other tangs. You might be better off returning it to the lfs if you can.

You should be fine I had four tangs that were labeled aggressive to mildly aggressive
Once They set up there own hierarchy they got along just fine the pack Consisted of purple ,red sea sailfin, flame fin, blue hippo aside from a occasionally Fin flare or tail wag for posturing amongst the pack everything was gravy |
