Flatworm treatment
Somewhere along the lines I picked up flatworms in my tank. Unfortunately I ignored the problem, and now it's crazy how many I have. I've tried wrasses etc with no luck, so today I picked up some Flatworm Exit. I really didn't want to, but given the success stories I've read I went for it. I have 25 gallons of SW mixing now and plan on treating the tank tomorrow afternoon. I'll treat, siphon the floating worms, do a 25% WC, then carbon dose.
Wish me luck! This evening I took the only coral out that I could....a 7 head Hammer and a Ricordia, and treated them in a bowl. You wouldn't believe how flatworms came off them! I wish I could get my Frogspawn off the rock to treat in a bowl too, but it's attached to a rock under more rocks with encrusting corals on them, so I can't get it out without serious destruction. Hopefully siphoning, netting, the 25% WC, and carbon keep my reef safe!

I ran FWE and i killed all but a few after several doses over a few weeks. Now I only see them if I start overfeeding the tank. GOod luck you got this.

Well GREAT results today!!!
I prepped 25 gallons of SW overnight and when I got home from work I started treating the tank. I made a small siphon from airline tubing so I could siphone the dead/dying flatworms without draining too much tank water in the process. This worked great and let me siphone and suck up dying flatworms for close to 20 minutes and I only drained 3 gallons out of the tank. I then stopped siphoning and tore down my skimmer for a good cleaning seeing as though I had it off for the treatment. Once done that I was at about the hour and a half mark of the treatment and had a few more to siphon out. I then did a 25 gallon water change and set everything back up, and started the carbon to help keep toxins down from any dead flatworms I missed. Right nori can't find a single flatworm where before my frogspawn and mushrooms were COVERED in them! I just spent 10 minutes looking and they seem to be gone! I'll probably do another treatment Ina week just to be on the safe side though. So glad I got this stuff!!!

Coral ReVive will also help remove flatworms; use it as a dip whenever adding new corals to your tank.

As you mentioned be sure to treat again in a week. The FWE won't kill any eggs and you will have newly hatched one's in a week. It has worked great for me.
